Fiat!

March 5, 1927

How firmness in good is only of God, for once He has done an act, it never ceases. Effects of firmness. How the Humanity of Our Lord was the bond of times, the remedy and the model. How God wants the rights of the Divine Will to be secured.

I felt myself in a slumber of affliction because of the privation of my sweet Jesus, and in my interior I said to Him: ‘My Love and my life, how is it? You have departed from me without saying good-bye, without teaching me where to direct my steps, or the way I must follow in order to find You. Even more, it seems to me that You Yourself have burned away the paths through which You may be found. And as much as I wander around and call You, You do not listen to me – the paths are closed; and exhausted with tiredness, I am forced to stop, longing for the One whom I wish to find at any cost, but I don’t. Ah! Jesus! Jesus! Come back - come to the one who cannot live without You.’

But while I was pouring out my pain, He just barely moved in my interior; and as I felt Him move, I said to Him: ‘My Jesus, my life, how is it? You make me wait for so long, to the point that I cannot take anymore; and if You make Yourself seen, You just flash by, and You don’t say anything to me. So it becomes darker than before, and I remain fidgety and delirious with pain; I search for You; I call You – but I wait for You in vain.’

 

The Divine Firmness

And Jesus, compassionating me, told me: “My daughter, do not fear, I am here with you. What I want is that you never go out of my Will, and that you continue your acts - always, without ever moving from the boundaries of the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat. This will give you the firmness which will make you be like your Creator – once He has done an act, that act has the virtue of continuing, without ever ceasing. An act which is always continuous, is only of God, who suffers no interruption in His acts. This is why Our firmness is unshakable, and extending everywhere with Our immensity, it renders Our acts uninterrupted. Wherever We lean, We find Our firmness, which gives Us the greatest honor – it makes Us known as the Supreme Being, Creator of all, and renders Our Being and Our acts inexorable. In fact, whatever place We want to lean on, We find Our firmness, which sustains everything.

My daughter, firmness is of divine nature, and a divine endowment; and so it is right that We give this participation and endowment of divine nature to one who must be daughter of Our Divine Fiat, and who must live in Our Kingdom. So, the fact that you continue your acts in It, without ever interrupting them, reveals that you already are in possession of the endowment of Our firmness. How many thingsfirmness says. It says that the souls moves only for God; it says that she moves with reason and out of pure love – not with passion and out of self-interest. It says that she knows the good she does, and therefore she is firm in it, without ever interrupting it. Firmness says, with indelible characters: “Here, there is the finger of God”. Therefore, be firm in your acts, and you will have Our divine firmness within your works.”

Afterwards, I was continuing my acts in the Supreme Volition, and as I arrived at the point of following the acts of Jesus, from the moment of His conception in the womb of the Immaculate Queen, up to His death on the Cross, my adorable Jesus, making Himself felt again in my interior, told me: “My daughter, my Humanity came upon earth as though in the midst of times, in order to reunite the past, when, in creation, the fullness of my Will reigned in man. Everything belonged to It; everywhere It had Its kingdom – Its operative and divine life. And I enclosed this fullness of my Divine Will in Me, and binding those in the present, first I became the model to form the remedies which were needed, the helps and the teachings which were necessary to heal them; and then I bound the posterity to the fullness of that Divine Will which reigned in the first times of creation.

Therefore, my coming upon earth was a bond of reunion of times; it was the remedy in order to form this bond, so that the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat might return into the midst of creatures; it was the model for all, so that, being molded, they would be tied to the bonds formed by Me. This is why, before speaking to you about my Will, I spoke to you about my coming upon earth, of what I did and suffered, in order to give you the remedies and the model of my own life; and then, I spoke to you about my Will: it was bonds that I formed in you, and in these bonds I formed the Kingdom of my Will. A sign of this is the many knowledges I manifested to you about It; Its sorrow for not reigning with all Its fullness in the midst of creatures, and the goods It promises to the children of Its Kingdom.”

Then I continued to pray, and I was almost asleep, when, all of a sudden, I heard someone speak in a loud voice within me. I paid closer attention, and I saw my beloved Jesus with His arms raised, in the act of embracing me, saying to me with powerful voice: “My daughter, I ask nothing else from you but this: that you be the daughter, the mother, the sister of my Will, and that you place in safety within you, Its rights, Its honour, Its glory.” He said this with a loud and powerful voice. Then, lowering His voice and hugging me, He added: “My daughter, the reason for which I want the rights of my Eternal Fiat to be secured, is that I want to enclose the Most Holy Trinity in the soul. My Divine Will alone can give Us the place and the glory worthy of Us. Through It, We can operate freely and place in you all the good of creation, forming even more beautiful things, because with Our Will in the soul, We can do everything, while, without It, We would lack the place in which to put Ourselves, and in which to lay Our works; so not being free, We remain in Our celestial residences.

It happens as to a king, who, loving one of his subjects with excessive love, wants to lower himself to live in his little hovel. But he wants to be free; he wants to put royal things in the little hovel; he wants to command; he wants that subject to eat of his good and delicate foods together with him. In sum, he wants to live his life of king. But the subject does not want him to put his royal things, or to command; nor does he want to adapt himself to the food of the king. The king does not feel free; so, for love of freedom, he goes back to his royal palace.

Wherever my Will does not reign, I am not free; the human will causes a continuous contrast with Mine; therefore, not having Our rights secured, We cannot reign, so We remain in Our royal palace.”

The Divine Firmness

Luisa was restless and sorrowful because of the absence of the One with Whom she could not live without. But the Lord, compassionating her, said that she should not fear, because He is with her. He told her that He never wants her to go out of His Will. She must continue her acts, without ever moving from the boundaries of the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat. This  gives her a firmness [fermezza], similar to that of her Creator. Once He has done an act, it has continuous life, and never ceases. This firmness is unshakable, and it extends everywhere in the divine immensity. It gives the Divinity great honour, making God known as the Supreme Being and Creator of everything.

His firmness sustains everything. It is of a divine nature and quality, and it is right that the daughter of the Fiat who lives in the Divine Kingdom should participate in this quality. When Luisa continues her acts in His Will, without ever interrupting them, it reveals that she is in possession of the quality of the divine firmness. Such solidity indicates that the soul moves only for God, that she acts with reason and out of pure love, not from passion or self-interest. She knows the good that she does and remains firm in it,without stopping. Firmness signifies the presence of the finger of God.

After this, while Luisa was continuing to pray, she suddenly heard Jesus speaking within her in a loud and powerful voice. He told her that He wants her to be the daughter, mother, and sister of His Will, and asked that she place its rights, honor and glory in safety within herself. Then, softening His voice and embracing her, He said that the reason He wants the rights of the Eternal Fiat placed in safety is because He wants to enclose the Most Holy Trinity in the soul. Only the Divine Will can give the Divinity the place and glory worthy of It. By means of the Fiat, the Most High can operate freely and lay within her all the good of Creation, forming yet more beautiful things.

With the Fiat reigning in the soul, the Trinity can do everything, but without it, the place in which the Divinity can enclose Itself and operate freely is lacking. Wherever the Divine Will does not reign, God does not feel free, since the human will causes continuous contrast with the Divine Volition. Not being free and without His rights in safety, God remains in the celestial dwellings (03/05/1927).

My love, I see that You have already died, and oh, how I would like to die together with You! But unfortunately this is not granted me and so, Fiat! Fiat!…

I desire to receive You in my arms to enclose your most sacred humanity within my “I love You,”47* so that in everything You will see my “I love You”, hear my “I love You” and feel my “I love You”. My “I love You” will never leave You; indeed, your Will constitutes the life of my “I love You”. And do You know what this little child desires of You? I desire that your Divine Will which You so loved and did throughout your entire life on earth, may be revealed to all souls, so that all may

47* Luisa enclosing Jesus’ humanity within her “I love You”, conveys a two-fold theologically reality. First, she unites her “soul” with all that which Jesus’ humanity experiences; second, she assimilates and deposits within her soul said experiences. Indeed, Luisa’s “I love You” emerged from her “soul” (cf. L. Piccarreta, volume 19, August 31, 1926). Luisa emphasizes that of the soul’s three powers (intellect, memory and will), the human will is the most “like” God, as it contains his immensity and power, and is therefore capable of bilocating itself “up to heaven or to the farthest places”, of being expanded and of enclosing all things within itself (cf. Ibid., volume 13, October 9, 1921; volume 23, December 22, 1927). Every act the soul accomplishes remains sealed within its will and not one of its acts will be lost (volume 12, January 1, 1920; 24, April 6, 1931).

come to love and do your Will on earth as in heaven. This little child desires to conquer You with love by making You grant your Divine Will to all souls. I entreat You, my good Jesus, to make this poor little child happy, as I desire nothing other than that which You yourself desire, namely, that your Will be known and reign in all the world.

My deceased Jesus, I have enclosed your most sacred humanity within my “I love You, I adore You, I bless You and I thank You”, thus forming in your humanity a sepulchre, as it were, for my “I love You” and entreating You to bury the human will so that it may no longer have a life of its own. I now accompany You together with our sorrowful mother into limbo with my “I love You,” and what a moving sight it is. In this holy place I see our first father Adam, Abraham, all the patriarchs and prophets, dear St. Joseph and all the good people of the Old Testament. Oh how they rejoice in seeing You and, prostrating themselves at your holy feet, they adore You, love You and thank You. It seems, however that their celebration is not complete, for with one accord, beginning with Adam their first father, together they all cry out: “To You we give thanks for all that You have done and suffered for us. Now that You have accomplished the first part [of your Messianic mission] by redeeming us, we entreat You to accomplish the second part by making your Divine Will reign on earth as in heaven.”

My love, do You not hear the choir of these voices that are so dear to You? The Queen of Sorrows ROUNDS IN THE DIVINE WILL herself entreats You, and so do I: “May your Will come, may it come and reign on earth as in heaven; grant that all may come to know of your adorable Will.” Today, the day of your death, is also the day of your victory – of your triumph. And would You refuse me [on this day] the triumph of your Divine Will over the human will? Before leaving limbo, let me hear your sweetest voice telling me that You will grant me my request – that your Will shall reign and exercise dominion on earth as in heaven.

How in all created things God centered His Love toward man.  Outpouring of love in creating him, and how the Fiat made him live in the reflections of his Creator.          
- Most Sacred Trinity 

1.             I continued my rounds throughout Creation, following every action of the Supreme Will in each created thing.  My always lovable Jesus came out from within me and accompanied me everywhere under the vault of heaven.  As we reached each created things, Jesus trembled with joy and love. 

2.            He paused to tell me: “My daughter, when I created the heavens, I centered My Love for man there, and to delight him even more, I studded them with stars.  It was not the heavens I loved, but man in the heavens; I created them for him.  My Love was so vast and strong that I extended this azure vault over the head of man and adorned with brilliant stars, as a pavilion for him.  No emperor or king could ever have one like it.”

3.             “However, I was not content with centering My Love for man in these heavens that I made purely for his delight.  I wanted to delight in love for him, so I created the sun, where I centered all my love for man.  It wasn’t the sun I loved; I loved man in the sun.  It was necessary to put my love there because the sun was necessary for the earth, the plants and the well-being of man.  There was love of the light that illuminates him, and love of the fire that warms him, and all the other innumerable effects that this sphere produces.  It is an on-going miracle placed in the vault of the heavens, where its light comes down for the good of all.  I centered so many kinds of love for man in the sun, one for each of all the many good effects it produces.” 

4.             “If only the creature at least paid attention to My Love the sun brings to her, how happy I would be.  I would be repaid for the great love I placed in this ambassador of My Divinity, the bearer of My Love and My Light.” 

5.             “As My Supreme Will operated, It established Itself as the life of each created thing, so It could give Itself as life for generations of humankind.  It is through each created thing that My Love, making its way in My Eternal Fiat, orients Itself around loving mankind.  In each created thing, in the wind and sea, a little flower or the little bird that sings, I centralized My Love in each of these so they may all bring him love.  This is My language of love.  However, mankind cannot hear, much less understand it unless they love Me.  If they don’t, all of Creation is dead silence for them.”

6.             “Then, after I created everything, I shaped the nature of man with My own creative hands.  As I formed the bones, extended the nerves and made the heart.  I also centralized My Love in him.  I clothed him with flesh, shaping him so he was more beautiful than any statue ever made by any sculpture.  I looked at him with so much affection that I was unable to contain My Love, and It overflowed as I breathed on him, infusing him with life.”

7.             “However, We were still not satisfied.  With superabundant love, the Most Sacredt Trinity endowed him by giving him intellect, memory and will.  We enriched him with all the attributes of Our Divine Being, as much as a creature in capable of receiving.  The whole of the Divinity was intent on loving man, so It poured Itself into him.  From the very first moment of his life, he felt all the strength of Our Love, and from the depth of his heart, he gave voice to his love for his Creator.” 

8.             “We were so happy when We heard this statue We made as part of Our work, speaking about his perfect love for Us.  It was the reflection of Our own Love that he was expressing.  This love had not yet been contaminated by his will, so it was still perfect; he still had all Our Love within him.  Out of everything We created up until then, none of them had ever told Us it loved Us.”

9.             “When We heard man expressing his love for Us, We were content.  We were so full of joy that, in the midst of our feasting, We crowned him as king of the entire universe.  He was the most beautiful jewel Our creative hands had ever made.  Man was so beautiful early in his creation.  He was Our reflection, so beautiful that Our Love was in rapture.  As Our reflection, everything he did was perfect.  The glory he gave to his Creator, his adoration, his work and his love, they were all perfect.  The perfect harmony of his voice resounded throughout Creation.  It was the Divine harmony of the same Fiat that had given him life.” 

10.         “Everything about him was in perfect order, like the image of his Creator that Our Will had given him.  It made him happy, and he grew in Our Likeness, according to Our words: ‘Let Us make man in Our Image and Likeness.’  His every action was done in the Unity of the Light of the Supreme Fiat, each one a touch of the Divine Beauty he was given.  His every word added another note of resounding harmony.   Everything about him was a love that he sang in praise of Our Glory, Power and infinite Wisdom.  The heavens, the earth and sun, everything gave him joy, happiness and the love of He who had created him.” 

11.         “If you could make a statue exactly the way you wanted, and make it come to life within the empire of the freely given love you have poured into it, how much would you love it?  How much would you want it to love you?  Wouldn’t you want it completely for yourself?  Wouldn’t you get so jealous over it that you would want its every heartbeat to be just for you?  If you could see yourself in this statue, wouldn’t you feel torn up inside if it didn’t do every little thing just for you?”

12.         “That’s how I am.  Every time the creature does something that isn’t just for Me, My feelings get torn apart.  What makes it worse is that the earth that supports her is Mine; the sun that illuminates and warms her is Mine; the water she drinks and the food she eats are Mine.  Everything is Mine and she lives at My expense.  I give everything to this beautiful statue, yet she is not there for Me.  Can you image My sorrow at how outrageously offensive this statue is to Me?  Think about it, My daughter.”

13.         “You know that only My Will can give Me back My beautiful statue, just as I made it.  My Will is the preserver of all Our works.  It is the bearer of all Our reflections, the habitat of the soul.  When she loves, it is with the perfection of Our Love; when she works, it is with the perfection of Our works.  Everything she does is perfect and gives her so many different shades of beauty that her Maker, who formed her, is captivated by love.”

14.         “I would love so much that the Supreme Fiat be known and form Its Kingdom among generations of humankind.  I want to re-establish relations between Creator and creature.  I want her to return and share all Our wealth in common with her.  Our Will alone has this power.  Without It, there can’t be much good, nor could Our statue return to Us, as beautiful as We made it with Our creative hands.”

Day 28 – The Expectation.

Victory over Death: the Resurrection.

The soul to her Queen Mother:

My pierced Mama, your little child, knowing that You are alone, without your beloved Good, Jesus, wants to cling to You to keep You company in your most bitter desolation. Without Jesus, all things change into sorrow for You.

Jesus Allows Luisa to Participate in is Ineffable Sweetness by Assisting in Consoling Scenes of the Holy mysteries of Our Faith

I obedience made me narrate briefly the painful scenes that ever-loving Jesus made me record in order to let me take part in his very bitter sufferings, I cannot silently pass over the consoling scenes that raptured my heart. Now and then He allowed me to take part in untold and unheard-of spiritual graces by letting me see the good and holy Priests who, with fervent spirit and true humility, carried out the celebration of the Most Holy Mysteries of our faith. When I would see these precious Mysteries celebrated with deep appreciation and respect for what develops in about thirty minutes, I would very often be inspired to exclaim to my beloved Jesus, in the fullness of my affection: "How elevated, great, excellent, and sublime is the Priestly ministry to which is given this lofty dignity to not only deal so closely with You, but even to immolate You to your Eternal Father as reconciling Victim, of love and of peace."

I was consoled when I gazed upon, and we versioned together, a holy Priest celebrating the Holy Mass. With Jesus in him, the celebrant was transformed in a way as to appear as a single person. It even appeared as if Jesus celebrated the Divine Sacrifice. Sometimes Jesus concealed the Priest inside Himself so that I saw only Jesus celebrating the Holy Mass. It was extremely uplifting to hear Jesus recite with so much unction of grace; to see Him move around with dignity; and to execute the Holy Ceremony. This would arouse great marvels in me for a ministry so high and holy. I do not know how many graces I received when I succeeded in seeing the Mass celebrated with all divine attention and devotion.

How many illuminations and divine charisms I understood then, and now I would like to pass over in silence. But since obedience commands, I can hardly do other than say something succinctly, and that Jesus, more than anyone else, when I am writing, moving within me, has reprimanded me for being lazy and for having wanted to omit something. With maximum confidence in Him, I now write: "How much patience one must have with You my good Jesus. I will satisfy You, my sweet Love. But since I feel unworthy and inadequate to say anything that concerns this deep, sublime and exalted Mystery, I shall do it with the help of your grace."

The Holy Mass and Its Effects. In particular, the Bodily Resurrection of the Dead.

I can now say that while I was listening attentively to the Divine Sacrifice, Jesus made me understand that the Mass, in the depth of the Mystery that unfolds, encompasses all the mysteries of our religion. Yes, the Mass enables us to observe everything; and it silently speaks to the heart of the infinite Love of God with unheard-of developments given for the good of man. It always reviews our completed Redemption and makes us remember each part of the sufferings that Jesus bore for us who are ungrateful for his Love. Thanks to the institution of this permanent Sacrifice, He makes us understand that He, not satisfied with dying just once on the Cross for us, wants to diffuse Himself in his immense Love, and continue his status as Victim in the Holy Eucharist.

Jesus made me understand that the Mass and the Holy Eucharist are a perennial remembrance of his Death and Resurrection and that they communicate the antidote for our mortal life. The Mass and Eucharist tell us that our disintegrated bodies, which will decay and be reduced to ashes through death, will be resurrected on the last day, to immortal life. For the good, it will be glorious; but for the wicked, it will end in torment. Those that have not lived with Christ will not resurrect in Him; but the good who have been intimate with Christ during their lifetime, will have a Resurrection similar to that of Jesus.

He made me understand well that the most consoling thing contained in the Sacrifice of the Mass is Jesus in the Sacrament of his Resurrection. It is superior to any of the other mysteries of our holy religion. This, together with his Passion and Death, is mystically renewed on our altars whenever the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated. Under the veil of unleavened Sacramental Bread, Jesus actually gives Himself to the communicants so as to be their companion along life's pilgrimage of mortal existence. By means of his grace that comes from the Bosom of the Holy Trinity, He gives everlasting life to those that participate, with soul and body, in this Sacrament. These mysteries are so profound that only in our immortal life will we fully understand. However, now in the Sacrament, Jesus gives us, in many ways-almost tangibly-a foretaste of what He will give us in Heaven.

Foremost, the Mass disposes us to meditation on the Life, Passion and Death of Jesus, who has been gloriously resurrected. Christ's Humanity, through the vicissitudes of life, was accomplished in thirty-three years; whereas in the Mass, mystically, and in a brief period of time, it is all renewed in a state of true annihilation, in which the Sacramental species contain Jesus, living and real, up to the time they are consumed. Afterwards, his real presence no longer exists Sacramentally in our hearts. He returns to the bosom of his Divine Father, just as He did when He arose from the dead. Then, consecrated anew in the Mass, under the forms of bread and wine, He descends to assume the Victim state of peace and propitiating love. His "Sacramental state" is renewed for our good as wayfarers, and for the glory and satisfaction of his Eternal Father.

Thus, in the Sacrament, He reminds us of the Resurrection of our own bodies into glory. Just as He resides in the bosom of his Father when He ceases his Sacramental state, so too will we pass to our eternal residence in the bosom of God when we cease to exist in our present life. Our bodies will be consumed like the Sacramental forms that seem to exist no longer. Then, on the universal Day of Resurrection, by the miracle of God's Omnipotence, our bodies will acquire "life"; and joined to our souls, will go to enjoy the eternal beatitude of God. Others, to the contrary, will go away from God to suffer atrocious, eternal torments.

If these marvellous effects flow from the limpid and unobscured Sacrifice of the Mass, why do Christians not accustom themselves to profit from it? For a soul that loves God, can there be anything more consoling and beneficent? In the Sacrament, He nourishes a soul so that it can be worthy of Heaven; and He gives the body the privilege of becoming beatified in the Eternal Will of God.

It seems to me that on that great day, a supernatural event will occur like the natural event that takes place after we have contemplated the starry heavens-and the sun appears. What happens? The sun, in its dazzling light, absorbs the light of the stars and, even though they disappear from the observer's sight, each star keeps its light, and stays in place. When the sun sets, the stars receive new light and shine in the firmament.

Like the stars, the souls that find themselves in front of the Universal Judgment in the Valley of Jehosophat as it was before the arrival of Jesus, will be able to observe other souls. The light acquired and communicated by the Most Holy Sacrifice and Sacrament of Love will be observable to each soul. But when Jesus, the Judge and Eternal Sun of Justice, appears in his great light, He will absorb into Himself, all the blessed souls that shine like stars. He will allow them to exist always, to swim in the immense sea of God's perfection.

And what will happen to souls deprived of this Divine Light? If I wanted to answer this question, I could write indefmitely. But if the Lord wishes, I shall reserve this for another time and say something else about the object of his Love. He had me understand, simply, that the bodies that are re-united to the souls with resplendent light, will be eternally united with God. On the other hand, other souls, because of the lack of light from not wishing to participate in the Sacrifice and Sacrament of Love, will be thrown into the depths of the thickest darkness; and because of their ingratitude, knowingly committed against so great a Giver, they will be placed in the slavery of Lucifer, the prince of darkness. They will be eternally tormented by terrible and terrifying remorse.

The Last Preparations for the Mystical Marriage.

Now to continue from the beginning. Thanks to the light of grace that Jesus always imbued in me, I was completely impassioned with holy yearning to be always united to Him-even when my soul left my body and Jesus would set apart bitter pains for me to suffer because of those who lacked appreciation for the Sacrifice and Sacrament of Love-the Mass. On his part, He would renew the sweet promises I already mentioned, about the Mystical Marriage He wanted with me. Because of this, I would plead many times with Him by saying: "Oh sweetest Spouse, hurry and do not postpone my intimate union with You. Do you not see that I can wait no longer? Let us hold ourselves together with strong bonds of love so that no one can separate us, even for an instant."

But Jesus, who infused in me the burning desire to complete this Mystical Marriage, kept repeating to me: "Everything earthly must be cast away. Everything, everything-not only from your heart, but also from your body. You do not know how harmful the slightest earthly shadow can be. It is a strong impediment to my Love." At these words I became bold and quickly said: "My Lord, does it appear that I still have something to remove from myself before I can be completely pleasing to You? Why do you not tell me what it is? You know if I am ready to do everything You wish." As I said this, I received a ray of light from Jesus through which I became aware that He wanted to speak about the gold ring, with his crucified image, that I wore on my finger. So I quickly said to Him: "Oh Holy Spouse, I am disposed to remove this from my finger if You
